Bella wurde unerwartet in einem Mastbetrieb geboren. Ihre Mutter sollte dort für ihre letzte Reise ins Schlachthaus gemästet werden und niemand wusste, dass sie trächtig war.

So lag eines Morgens die kleine Bella im Stall. Der Mäster beauftragte seine Mitarbeiterin damit Bella zu „entsorgen“. Sie sollte getötet werden und anschließend in einem Tierpark als Löwenfutter enden.

Doch die Mitarbeiterin sah in ihre Augen und brachte es nicht übers Herz. Anstatt sie zu töten, zog sie sie mit der Flasche auf und suchte parallel einen Lebensplatz für sie. So führte sie ihr Weg zu uns. Anstatt bereits tot zu sein, kann sie nun ihr gesamtes Leben in Freiheit genießen.
